MTB Course | Black

The black course is for those of you who have already mastered advanced techniques and want to take your trail biking to the next level—where precision, speed, and control are truly put to the test. Here, it’s all about refining the details and honing your technique so you can ride fast and efficiently on really steep and technical terrain.

During the course, we’ll work on advanced maneuvers such as manuals, sideways bunny hops, drifting through turns, and bar turns/whips—and learn how to apply these techniques to real-world trail riding. The focus is on fully mastering the bike both in the air and on the ground, as well as on building confidence and speed through better body control and timing.

This course is ideal for those who have already taken our MTB Red course or have equivalent experience, and who want to challenge themselves with techniques used by experienced enduro and downhill riders.

As always, we work in small groups, which allows for personalized feedback and individual progress—whether you want to get faster in races or more confident on technically challenging terrain.

What You'll Learn

Cycling on Steep Terrain
Work on getting comfortable with really steep sections. Learn to read the line, adjust your position, and handle the bike with balance and control.

Sideways Bunny Hop
Improve your bunny hop and learn how to move your bike sideways—perfect for changing lanes in the middle of technical sections.

Sprinting Technique
Learn how to sprint on your bike without the suspension sapping your power. Efficient acceleration when approaching obstacles and steep climbs.

Wheelie Technique
Build speed and momentum by keeping the front wheel off the ground. We’ll practice wheelies and learn how to use this technique off-road.

Riding Through Curves
Learn how to lean your bike and control skids in curves to maintain speed. Focus on balance, timing, and control.

Jumping Technique with Bar-Turn/Whip
In-Depth Look at Jumping Technique – Learn how to angle your bike in the air to land steadily and in a controlled manner, even on uneven landings.

Trail riding with track training
Final ride back to the store, where you’ll get to apply all your new techniques—line choice, body control, and positioning on varied terrain.
