Easter Break Fun on Wheels

A rolling adventure for all children—no matter their circumstances!

On April 14–15, Bikemaestro, in collaboration with Rullegruppen Göteborg, invites ALL adventure-seeking kids to a unique Easter break activity!

Following the success of the fall break in 2024, we now want to give more kids the opportunity to get out and discover the joy of movement together, regardless of their circumstances.

Over two full days, there will be adventures on both two and four wheels, as we take the children out into the forests around Kvibergs Park on mountain bikes and an all-terrain quad bike adapted for people with mobility impairments. We’ll be using the Exoquad model from Exotek—an absolutely incredible vehicle that enables people with mobility impairments to explore the woods on nearly the same terms as other mountain bikers.

There will be a total of four tours per day, during which we’ll have access to 10 bikes and one Exoquad. That means we have room for a total of 88 children to participate over these two days!

The event is made possible with funding from the City of Gothenburg’s Northeast Social Services Department.

This is a trial activity that is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience with cycling in nature; however, participants should already be comfortable riding a bike on flat terrain.

A fun activity with our talented and inspiring instructors.

Bike rental is included at no extra cost. We have the following bike sizes available:

– 6 24″ children’s MTBs (suitable for heights 125–145 cm)
– 3 26″ children’s MTBs (suitable for heights 140–160 cm)
– 1 27.5″ children’s MTB (suitable for heights 150–170 cm)

Clothing appropriate for the weather and designed for physical activity.

In a society where fewer and fewer children are getting out into nature and being active, and where the healing connection to nature is growing weaker and weaker, Rullegruppen and Bikemaestro want to work together to inspire change.
